Later that night, they were observed drinking at a neighboring tavern, clearly enthralled with one another.
Fans have suspected that Doja Cat, actual name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, and lover J Cyrus may have split, with others claiming to have seen the rapper's account on Raya, an exclusive celebrity dating app.
The singer previously expressed her admiration for Quinn when an X user shared a photo of the actor with the caption, "Doja, look how fine Joseph Quinn is."
The Grammy-winning performer replied, "It's f***ing criminal."
The Agoura Hills artist was last publicly linked to Quinn when his Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp said she had requested him to hook her up with Quinn.
In direct messages on Instagram, the Paint The Town Red rapper wrote: "Noah, please tell Joseph to hmu. Wait, no. Does he have a girlfriend?
Schnapp said, "LMAOO, slide into his [DMs]."
"Idk his IG or Twitter, he doesn't have a DM to slide into," she continued before the young actor offered her Quinn's Instagram handle.
The Charlie Brown voice actor then enthusiastically posted the exchange on TikTok, eliciting wrath from Doja Cat, who labeled his behavior "borderline snake s***, that's weasel s***" in an Instagram livestream.
"The fact that Noah did that, like, went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack," she told me. "That's borderline snake s*** and weasel s***. And I'm not saying that sums up his entire personality; I don't imagine Noah in that sense.
Perhaps he is a complete snake. But I didn't see him like that. I assumed he'd be OK about it, and he went ahead and provided stuff that I didn't feel comfortable with him giving," she said, adding that he could just be young and naive.
"To be fair this is like a kid, I don't know how old he is but he's not even over like 21."
The two have since apologized to one other.
