Israeli media reported that approximately 40 people sustained varying injuries after a truck collided with a bus station near Glilot, north of Tel Aviv.
A skynewsarabia correspondent stated that about 40 people, most of them soldiers, were injured in the accident, which was also confirmed by Israeli media.
The Israeli police spokesperson said that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
According to other reports from the scene, several people are trapped in critical condition under the truck.
Updates on social media platform X indicated that at least 10 people are in serious condition.
Later, Israeli media reported that the number of injuries could reach 50, including around 15 in critical condition.
The Israeli ambulance service said, "We are providing medical care to the injured, and 16 have been transported to Ichilov, Beilinson, and Sheba hospitals in Tel Hashomer, with 4 in serious condition, 4 in moderate condition, and 8 with minor injuries."
Israeli media later confirmed that the incident has resulted in the deaths of at least five individuals, while the Israeli police confirmed the death of the truck driver responsible for the attack in northern Tel Aviv.
The Israeli police also stated that they are treating the incident as a "nationally motivated attack."
