Samsung Dismisses Employee Over Leaks, Yet New Galaxy S25 Plus and Ultra Renders Surface
Reliable tipster Evan Blass has shared new renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra, highlighting design distinctions between the two upcoming flagship models.
Despite Samsung’s well-known stance on taking decisive action against leaks, its flagship devices continue to be among the most leaked smartphones in the industry.
The recent leaks of Galaxy S25 Plus hands-on images have reportedly led to the firing of a Samsung employee. The leaked images included a visible device identification number, which allowed the company to trace the source and terminate the staff member's employment. This is not the first instance of Samsung taking such measures, but despite their efforts to prevent leaks, information about the Galaxy S25 series continues to surface.
Yesterday, Evan Blass posted what appeared to be an official teaser from Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event, revealing the rumored January 22 launch date for the S25 series. Blass has now shared detailed renders of the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, showcasing their front-facing designs.
The leaked renders align with earlier reports. The Galaxy S25 Ultra features more rounded corners, a design choice that many Samsung users are eagerly anticipating for improved ergonomics. The S25 Plus also exhibits rounder corners compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Plus, distinguishing it clearly from the Ultra model.
